Time benchmarks
- Pickup walkaround + documents: 8 to 12 minutes.
- Return walkaround + fuel/mileage: 6 to 10 minutes.
- Issue escalation (damage or late return): 10 to 15 minutes.
Photo and video standard
- Capture 8 to 12 exterior angles.
- Capture dashboard, seats, cargo area, and any pre-existing damage.
- Use a 20 to 30 second video only when damage is complex or disputed.
Customer signature step
- Confirm the final condition summary with the customer.
- Capture a signature (digital or paper) before closing the handoff.
- Store signatures with the reservation record.
Pickup and drop-off checklist
- Verify reservation, ID, and payment status.
- Record mileage, fuel level, and time.
- Complete the walkaround and mark the damage map.
- Capture photo evidence and attach it to the record.
- Review the summary with the customer and collect signature.
